About This Novel
He was awakened by the breath. A very warm breath moved on his face, accompanied by a swallowing sound. He opened his eyes slightly and saw a pair of white eyes, a big nostril below, and a face lying on top. He pushed it towards the face and sat up. The face quickly shook back, humming at the bottom of the throat. He rubbed his eyes, which were covered with eye excrement, before he saw clearly the person in front of him - Gui Zai. The ghost kicked his legs and sat on the doorstep like a tree branch. He looked at him sideways, his white eyes filled with suspicion. He probably meant, "How can you sleep here?" The ghost's fair face, with a little green skin showing through his chin, looked very scary in the dim light.
