"Twelve Money Darts" is Gong Baiyu's famous work. The whole book begins with Hu Menggang, the head of the Zhentong Escort Bureau, asking for a escort flag from Yu Jianping, who has twelve coins, and then turns to a suspenseful and twisting story, from detecting the wind, calling the police, changing routes, being robbed, fighting, losing the escort, to the erratic and confusing trace of the escort, and no one knows its origin. The characters in the novel are described in detail and vividly. For example, Yu Jianping's chivalrous and sophisticated character; Flying Leopard's elusiveness and cunning; Black Sand Palm's cynicism and warm-heartedness; Jiu Guyan's mean face, villainous character, and his stern but inward consciousness are almost vivid on the page, ready to be revealed.
