Great Loneliness
About This Novel
Dad always warned Renee that the outside world was dangerous, but in fact her home was the most dangerous. In Alaska in 1974, the brightest and darkest humanity thrived in the long night. Alaska is very big, and there are many places to hide little things like love: the friendship between neighbors, the deep love between mother and daughter, the innocent love of youth and the twisted and possibly fatal love of lovers. This elusive and lonely place reveals swirls and secrets that have been hidden for years. After arriving in Alaska, 14-year-old Renee suddenly saw the true appearance of the world around her and understood the truth that her parents had been hiding. The world is too vast and we all have to face too many problems alone. We use love to keep the world out, but the world is coming menacingly.
