About This Novel
With a bang, the sky lit up in Zhangmu'ao. The sunlight poured down from the eagle's mouth on the east mountain, shrouding the entire Zhangmu Col in a shining light. The sunshine, which danced like gold coins, first climbed up to the camphor forest at the east end of the Aozi, shaking the leaves of the palm-sized leaves, and then gently rippled towards the middle of the Aozi, crawling over rows of green vegetable beds, and turning over crooked roads. The sloping bamboo fence walked softly towards each house, knocking on the window panes. Gradually, people in the house heard the slight sound of sunlight. They got out of bed one by one, opened the door with a creak, and walked into the light. As soon as this happened, Zhangmu'ao woke up after a good night's sleep.
