About This Novel
This book is a collection of short stories, a review of the author's memory of his hometown, a spiritual revisit, and a record of personal spiritual growth and spiritual autobiography. The characters in this book are all relatives and neighbors living around the author. Through his interpretation of them, the author is exploring the joys and sorrows of individual human existence, their survival value, and his concern for their living conditions. In the author's opinion, birth or death, or the endless rebirth, seems to be the original state of human existence. From this collection of novels, we can also see the life and development of rural areas in Fujian and the simple style of the last villages that are about to disappear.
