About This Novel

Ye Zang in "Clown Flower" is young, impulsive and proud. In this work, Osamu Dazai analyzes the mental journey of the protagonist Oba Yozo, who appears to be negative and decadent, but actually seeks to survive in a desperate situation, in his future work "Disqualification in the World", and also reveals many secrets about writing. "The Outsider" tells the story of a clerk named Meursault who was accused of manslaughter but was eventually sentenced to death because he did not shed tears at his mother's funeral. In this novel, Camus uses an objective and calm tone from the perspective of an "outsider" who is out of tune with society, and profoundly reveals the absurdity of the world through a moral trial that Meursault experienced in the name of law.
