About This Novel

[Exclusive first release] Authorized by Blizzard and produced by Legendary Pictures, this is the official novel prequel to the movie "Warcraft" and a must-read guide for watching the movie. In the world of Draenor, the strong, brave and independent Frostwolf clan has to face increasingly harsh winters, and the number of beasts to hunt is becoming increasingly scarce. At this moment, the mysterious stranger Gul'dan came to Frostfire Ridge and told the Frostwolf orcs that there was a rich new world for them to hunt to their heart's content. The leader of the clan, Durotan, must make a decision that is impossible for him - to abandon his homeland and the clan's proud traditions and lead his people to unknown lands. A story of survival, conflict and magic that led to the stories that followed...

Not bad, worth recommending.

Although I have watched the movie, I already know the ending of the Frostwolf clan and Durotan. But after reading the prequel to Durotan, I truly understood orc culture and orcs. I am a Warcraft player. I have been obsessed with the character settings and real-time strategy game atmosphere of Warcraft since junior high school. I have never read the novel, but I have heard some stories about Warcraft. Therefore, I also have some misunderstandings about the racial culture of Warcraft. Now through this book, I can truly understand the orcs and tribes. The story is very exciting. What's wonderful is not only the storyline, but also the author's portrayal of the culture and traditions of the orcs and the characters of each of them. They all have a sense of graphics and characteristics, which made me feel like I was truly involved in the story. I used to think that the orcs were just an evil race that lives on bloodthirsty. Now that I read it, I really understand that the orcs also have civilization, inheritance, historical and cultural background, and have a bottom line and a framework of rules and regulations. They are not living haphazardly. They have also experienced hardships and hardships, and have struggled with fate and evil before they came to Azeroth. They were forced to enter the human realm in order to continue their civilization and race. I think this is consistent with the general environment behind the story and the thoughts the author wants to express. There must be a deeper reason behind something. The conflict between two cultures may be integrated through communication and understanding, just like American racial culture is like the history of human civilization development. I am honored to read this book. I am going to buy a full set of Warcraft novels online and read the entire World of Warcraft story.
