About This Novel
"The Legend of Honghuang" is a mythological novel based on the legendary stories in the ancient Chinese classics "The Classic of Mountains and Seas" and "Sou Shen Ji". "The Legend of Honghuang" revolves around three classic mythological stories: "The Yellow Emperor fights Chiyou", "Nuwa mends the sky" and "Gonggong's anger touches Mount Buzhou", using a dual-main line creative technique. The first main line is from the perspective of a girl (Pingyi) who created the Sky-Mending Divine Stone, describing her sincere relationship with Taiyi, the true god of creation, in her past and present lives. The second main line is from the perspective of another mythical character, the God of Drought, Qing Xi, describing her negative role in the disputes between the three realms due to her misunderstanding of her father, Xuanyuan Huangdi.
