The Eternal King: the Legend of King Arthur
About This Novel
"The Eternal King" is adapted from the 15th-century legendary novel "Morte d'Arthur" by Sir Malory. The author Sir Malory wrote this classic work in prison, laying the foundation for future King Arthur stories. Mallory, who was fluent in French and English and was a knight, assembled the English and French versions of knightly literature, and retouched, arranged and created scattered stories scattered among poems, folklore and prose, integrating his personal interpretation of knights and the times. He can be said to be the first master of Arthurian literature. White devoted himself to the study of King Arthur, and chose the important work "Le Morte d'Arthur" as the basis, adding new interpretations of King Arthur research, and also brought in his understanding of King Arthur's era and British culture. White's writing technique seems to be a storyteller's interpretation, selecting the exciting and playable parts, greatly enhancing the details and story-telling; and occasionally incorporating narrative and discussion.
