About This Novel
"Flying Fox in the Snow Mountain" was written by the contemporary martial arts novelist Jin Yong in 1959. The story focuses on Hu Yidao and his wife. Through the mouths of Baoshu, Miao Renfeng's daughter Miao Ruolan, Ping Asi and Tao Baisui, it tells a related martial arts past a few years ago. The work basically did not mention the growth path of the protagonist Hu Fei, so the author later added a related work "Flying Fox Gaiden" to tell the protagonist's growth process. Although the two are related, the story structure and content are basically independent of each other. It can be said to be the prequel of "Flying Fox in the Snow Mountain", or it can be read together as one book. Since this book was published, it has been the most controversial among Jin Yong's works. "Flying Fox in Snow Mountain" is now included in "Collection of Jin Yong's Works".
