About This Novel
Harold Fry, sixty-five years old, retired quietly after working as a sales representative for a brewery for more than forty years. The inertia of life for most of his life has covered him like iron armor. He lives with his wife in the British countryside, living a peaceful life and being estranged from each other day after day. One morning, he received a letter from his old friend Queenie, whom he had not seen for twenty years. She had cancer and wrote goodbye. Harold wrote a reply, and on the way to send it, he thought about himself from Queenie, traveling further and further. Finally, he traveled from the southwest to the northeast, across the entire England. 87 Days, 627 miles, with only one belief: as long as he left, Queenie would survive. This is the story of Harold's journey of thousands of miles. From the moment he stepped forward, parallel to his journey of more than 600 miles, was another inner journey through time. This journey passed through himself, through various aspects of modern society, and spanned time and geographical landscapes. He opened his scarred heart and let his life shine again.

Carnival is the loneliness of a group of people, loneliness is the carnival of one person
My love for you has always been quiet
Harold wore canvas shoes and kept walking, revealing the scenery and past events along the way; Queenie was bedridden and insisted on writing, confessing her past loves and episodes. The two old people recalled their respective past events, which together should form a complete story. 👧😫
Loneliness is a person's business
Either vulgar or lonely is so appropriate~
Don't forget your original intention and savor the charm of life as you move forward.
This book is very nice
Is it well written?
Untitled
When life becomes too routine and you don't feel alive, get out.
Do you think this is an emotional book?
In fact, this is a book about the pursuit of faith, courage and self.
After reading the entire book, I can't even name the heroine.
