About This Novel

The author himself may have schizophrenia Although I don't quite know how to appreciate the narrative style of the book, which is almost like a running account, I can give considerable understanding and sympathy after seeing the true side of Ye Zang from the complicated trivial matters. The protagonist's fragile inner monologue after facing the cruelty of human nature, as well as other relatives and friends' troubles when they parted, all moved the readers in the resonance... People should live and fight for lofty ideals!

"I" was born in the northeastern countryside, and I am not considered well-informed. The first time I saw a train was when I was a little older. At that time, "I" climbed up and down the overpass, thinking that it was just to make the train station as interesting as a foreign amusement park. Climbing up and down like this was very special.
"I" have been in poor health since I was a child and am often sick, so I spend most of my time in bed. When lying on the bed, "I" think these beddings are the most boring decoration. But it was only when I was in my twenties that I realized how practical these things were.
When "I" was a child, I saw the subway in a picture book. "I" always thought that it was designed and built because the fun of riding a car underground is much higher than that on the ground. I never thought that it was built for actual needs.

A very favorite book.
After watching it, I felt like I didn't want to watch it anymore because the relationship between men and women in it was always so realistic and I didn't want to shatter my fantasy.
