About This Novel

This book contains two novellas: "The Fool Enters the City" and "The Story of the Trojan Horse". My uncle was imprisoned for selling food stamps. The place where he was imprisoned happened to be in Xi'an, so he was the first person to leave Tarping. When my uncle was in prison, he learned to write and do brickwork. After he came back, he wrote couplets for the village and built tombs for the dead and the living, becoming a very glorious hero. As a fool, in order to get out of the mountains and see the outside world like his uncle, he tried his best to cross mountains and rivers, and then set fires and rapes. But no matter what I do, I can't seem to break the law or go to jail in the city. When he climbed to the top of the mountain to masturbate, an unexpected move made him get his wish. But when he walked out of prison a few years later, he found that the gate of Tarping had been opened.
