About This Novel

The book "Underground" is a preliminary summary of my experiences and lessons learned during the underground struggle of the Communist Party in the white areas. But it can also be said that the book "Underground" is condensed with the blood of many revolutionary ancestors and countless revolutionary martyrs who survived a narrow escape. In order to maintain the original appearance as much as possible, I have not made any major changes to some of the references in the book in this reprint. From this book, we can see how the underground workers of the Chinese Communist Party struggled and lived under the particularly harsh white terror rule before the founding of New China. Although we have achieved brilliant results, we have also suffered from the tragic situation of thousands of underground workers being arrested and brutally killed. It was like raining blood. We have both rich experience in struggle and painful lessons from failure.
