Shoe Experience

About This Novel
A pair of shiny women's leather shoes were placed on the trash can in the corridor. From a distance, they looked like a ragged beggar wearing a crown, adding a glimmer of light to the dark corridor. When the old man from the concierge went to clean the toilet in the men's room, the pair of shoes were left there. He thought that a woman who went to the toilet had left them on the trash can in a hurry, so he ignored them. But after he cleaned the toilet and came out of the men's room, the shoes were still there. He went down to the lobby on the first floor to look for a mop. When he came back with the mop, the shoes were still there without moving. Old man Geng was going to clean the women's bathroom, but now he looked at those shoes and could only shake his head and curse, "What a lazy man!" So he went to mop the floor of the men's bathroom and waited for the owner of those shoes to come out.
