About This Novel
"Cow" was first published by Su Ye Press in 1980 and included 9 short stories. It was republished by Oxford University Press in 2016, adding "Letter" and "An Indian Fainted Beside the Pool". This book is the 40th anniversary edition of the first edition. It has been revised by the author and added "Bat" and the author's postscript. The book contains a total of 11 novels, with a preface by Liu Yichang and a postscript by Liang Bingjun. The novels mostly take the relationship between nature and humans as their theme, and are full of spirituality and beautiful writing.
