About This Novel

Even if it's only so short, your life is wonderful! A personal history of the northern urban-rural fringe, with strange powers and chaotic gods, and interesting unofficial stories. Or a trivial matter, or a missing old cousin; a dilapidated street that no longer exists, or a bowl of salty soup that lingers in dreams. Of course, I can't guarantee whether a thrilling farce will suddenly appear, or whether a piece of true or false historical data will be involved. Ten years have passed, and a new life has begun, but the old dictionaries of my hometown are unable to explain it, and can only be buried in the corners of mediocre daily life. Seeing the past is like smoke, but there is no way to light it. Looking through this old dictionary is just to get to know some words again, to look for people and things left in the old streets and alleys, to have some fun in my imagination, and to leave a trace of thoughts while running around. Talking nonsense to relieve worries is inconspicuous, but it is not trivial.
