About This Novel
It tells a story that takes place between "The Devotion of Suspect X" and "The Saint's Rescue". Nothing logical can trouble "Detective Galileo", so what else can trouble him? Kunihiro Tomonaga was killed in front of the floor-to-ceiling window of his home. The cause of death was that a sharp knife penetrated his chest. At the time of the incident, Banghong was alone in the room. Four people at home were gathering in the living room, and his father, Yuki Masa, was alone in the bedroom. Fortunately, he is the mentor of the physicist Yukawa Manabu, who has been paralyzed for many years. No trace of the murderer was left at the scene, and the murder weapon was not found. But after examining the window glass fragments, Yukawa Manabu, known as "Detective Galileo", determined that the murderer was Yukimasa, who seemed to have committed the impossible crime. Without Yukawa Manabu, this case would have been almost impossible to solve, but he was surrounded by strong uneasiness.

I have read at least twenty of Keigo Higashino's books. My favorite is The Devotion of Suspect X, and I also particularly like Manabu Yukawa.

For a while, I was thinking that I should be careful in my words and actions because I didn't know that my unintentional words or actions would cause unpredictable harm to others. But then I thought that at the same time, I had to improve my mental endurance and judge things more objectively. Because sometimes it's true that even small things can be misinterpreted by people with mental disabilities. So, live actively, and at the same time, live and cherish.
