"Collected Works of Wang Huo Volume 2" contains two novels, "Three Years of Thunderbolt" and "Firelight in the Thick Fog". Among them, "Three Years of Thunderbolt" features a pair of young male and female journalists as the protagonists. The work tells their extraordinary and unique experiences, their love, hate and desolate youth. The lovers were active in Shanghai, a ten-mile foreign land, and in Nanjing, the capital of the heartland at that time. They weathered the storms of the great era, went through the ups and downs after the founding of the People's Republic of China, and entered a good period of reform and opening up; "Fire in the Fog" tells the story of a famous university at the foot of Jinyun Mountain in Chongqing and on the bank of the Jialing River in the 1940s. The work reproduces the style of university life during the Anti-Japanese War from a side.
