About This Novel
A brain-burning suspense masterpiece that has sold 3 million copies worldwide! How many seemingly perfect couples are waiting for the opportunity to kill each other. Alicia was 33 years old when she killed her husband. She shot her husband five times in the face and never said a word again. She was admitted to a psychiatric clinic and became a notorious "silent patient". The only thing she left to the outside world was a strange self-portrait. I, Theo, a psychotherapist, was attracted by her story and hoped to help her get out of her silent death through psychotherapy. I was convinced that only she could tell the truth, and only I could make her speak. Even though there is a dark abyss behind Alicia's silence that is far beyond my imagination, tempting me deeper and deeper until there is no escape... When she really starts to tell the truth, do I really have the courage to listen? A brutal murder, a strange Greek myth; a long silence, a fatal psychological treatment!

After Alicia killed her husband, Gabrielle Berenson, she also made several cuts on the veins on her hands and refused to let the police arrest her. After that, her life was saved, and she fell silent. Her silence turned the case into a mystery.

There is no reversal, at most it is an exploration of the heroine's behavior and psychology. A person's spiritual sustenance can be music, books, or work, but it cannot be people
classic
This reversal caught me off guard! !
Every betrayal is worth a murder
Every little evil that is passed on inadvertently will eventually turn into a catastrophe. If a person cannot handle his emotions correctly, he will become a devil. As a husband and wife, you must know how to be grateful and loyal, and do not let the people who love you feel cold. As a father or a mother, you must know how not to pass on your negative energy to your children. If when evil happens, we can stop the harm to ourselves, maybe there won't be so many tragedies. Many times the people we can hurt are the ones who love us the most. Gentleness is sometimes more powerful than violence. Learning to deal with your own pain, being gentle to those who love you, and not hurting others should be a skill that everyone needs to learn and practice throughout their lives.
At first I thought Theo's treatment of Alicia was done at the same time as the rape! Is the final outcome to prove that if you don't know what to do, you can't do anything except yourself?
Damn, that's really awesome No spoilers, just watch it yourself
Unexpressed emotions never die
Reading feels boring and unappealing
Wonderful psychological description
The very natural narrative trap creates a wonderful reversal, and the psychological description of the main characters is just right.
