About This Novel
John Farnley, who was sent to the United States by his parents because of his bad conduct, became the sole heir to the title and property of the Farnley family after the death of his brother Dudley. Gore recounted the past events with confidence, knowing all about Little John's experiences before he was fifteen years old, and finally came up with the trump card of fingerprint verification. Unexpectedly, just when the fingerprints were being tested and the authenticity was determined, John Farnley drowned in the garden pool. Did he commit suicide because of a guilty conscience?

Full of suspense, the true and false identity, the old girl's death, the strange doll, the mystery of "suicide"... I didn't like the woman who ran away from the beginning to the end.
