Ximending, Taipei, was once a bustling urban landmark, but it was devastated by a major earthquake six years ago. The government commissioned a technology company to develop a virtual business district called VirtuaStreet that "looks real, feels real, and sounds real" based on Ximending in 2008. Unexpectedly, during the final testing phase, a murder actually occurred in this virtual space! The people who reported the crime were VirtuaStreet's talented designer Dashan and his subordinate Xiaolu. When the two were testing, there was a problem with the system's data and they entered the virtual world to investigate. As a result, they saw a "corpse" lying on the street corner! After investigation, the police found that the deceased died from a heavy blow to the back of the head. However, the corpse was found in a room that was locked from the inside in the real world, and no murder weapon was found in the virtual world.
