About This Novel

"Joyce's Letters" is the fifth of eight volumes and nine types of Joyce's collected works published by Shanghai Translation Publishing House. The Chinese translation has a total of 378,000 words and 516 pages, including nearly a thousand letters from the Irish writer James Joyce. It is based on the "Selected Letters of James Joyce" compiled and selected by the scholar Richard Ellman in 1975. The main content of this book is selected from the three-volume "Collected Letters of Joyce" edited by him and published from 1957 to 1966.
