About This Novel
The book is a collective memoir of the 1983 class of the Political Science Department of Northwest Normal University. It contains a total of 64 reminiscence articles, messages, and insights, as well as more than 100 photos. The Class of 1983 is the third class of college students after the resumption of the college entrance examination. Before enrolling, they had complicated identities and experienced ups and downs; after graduation, they have different experiences, different choices, and different fates. This memoir, with either gentle or stern words, reflects the whole class's affectionate remembrance of life, family, society, teachers, and classmates. It also witnesses the ups and downs of China's social changes over the past thirty years since the reform and opening up, and can reflect an era.
