About This Novel

"Chen Ye Chen Meng" is the memoir of Chen Quzhen who joined the army in 1909 and went to Tibet with General Zhong Ying of the Sichuan Army under Zhao Erfeng's order and participated in the battles of Gongbu and Bomi. It describes the mountain scenery, humanities, customs and social life seen along the way; it also records the crimes and conspiracy activities of British and Russian imperialists who coveted and competed for our country's sacred territory of Tibet. From a literary point of view, it can be regarded as a beautiful travelogue; from a historical point of view, it can be regarded as an important material to record the situation of people traveling to Sichuan and Tibet in the late Qing Dynasty.

The ultimate question

Maybe it's because I don't read much, but the words in the preface at the beginning are astonishing, but it shows that it has a profound background, and I admire it very much. This book is brilliant, readable, and readable. Don't read the full text introduction, it's a romance girl style, but this book is definitely different.
