About This Novel

Suzanne was unfortunate: as a reporter for the New York Post, her work and life were completely disrupted by a sudden illness. She often felt that her room and even her body were occupied by a terrible bed bug. Things around her became strange and distorted, and her soul seemed to be pulled out of her body. She was sent to the hospital for hundreds of tests, and the results were all normal, but her mental state became worse and worse... Susanna was also lucky: even though she was diagnosed with different illnesses many times, but her condition worsened, her parents and lover always stayed by her side. She also met Dr. Suhail Najjar, who cared for Suzanne like a friend, carefully documenting her symptoms and feelings that "her brain was under attack from her own body." In the end, can Susanna survive those dark and terrifying days and usher in light and hope again?
