About This Novel
The novel collection "Flower Temple" consists of 17 short stories. The theme of his creation can be roughly divided into three aspects: First, it reflects the bleak life of girls in the boudoir. It depicts the inner world of wealthy ladies, expresses the loss and confusion of old-fashioned girls who cannot control their destiny, and satirizes and sympathizes with their tragic fate; secondly, it reveals the vulgar life of the wife class. It exposes the parasitic life of old-style wives and examines and criticizes their numb and ugly souls; third, it shows the contradictory life of new-style wives. Because I am a poor man, I only read the first four chapters for free. Then the first chapter made me a little confused and I didn't understand it. The second chapter is about the girl Huaichun who was trampled on. The third chapter is also about the girl Huaichun, but this one talks about the conflict between the old and new ideas in small aspects. The fourth chapter is about the passage of time and everyone has changed. Overall, it is quite good-looking and the writing is elegant.
