The first part: the film scene of the Republic of China, mainly discusses the achievements and contributions of overseas Chinese filmmakers in Guangdong in the early 20th century and the 1940s, especially the Wuyi filmmakers, as well as their different life situations and destiny. This is the focus of this book. The second part: Overseas Chinese Writers, provides a scanning review of the writers and works active in the current overseas Chinese literary circle in Wuyi, Guangdong, allowing readers to have a general understanding of the creative status of these Wuyi writers and the development of overseas Chinese literature. The third part is the Appendix: A Glimpse of the Literary World, which contains essays on certain schools and writers in the contemporary literary world. It attempts to make its own judgment on the current literary trends and artistic changes in the literary world, as well as to interpret the works of some new and old writers from a new perspective. The academic viewpoints are novel, the historical materials are informative and clear, and they are also readable to a certain extent.
