About This Novel

Zou Taofen is an outstanding journalist, political commentator and publisher in China. He studied at Fuzhou University of Technology, the Primary School Affiliated to Shanghai Nanyang Public School, and the Nanyang Public School Intermediate School. In 1919, he transferred from the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department of the Upper School of Nanyang Public School to the Liberal Arts Department of Shanghai St. John's University. In 1922, he served as the editorial director of the China Vocational Education Society founded by Huang Yanpei and others, and began to engage in education and editing work. In 1926, he took over as the editor-in-chief of Life Weekly. With his sharp pen, he advocated justice and public opinion and criticized the dark forces. Therefore, he was rated as one of the 100 heroic models who made outstanding contributions to the founding of New China. This book is one of the author's masterpieces.
