About This Novel

This manuscript is a collection of art criticism essays funded by the National Endowment for the Arts. The research perspectives of this paper are mostly focused on the current development status of western art, protection and inheritance of intangible culture, art market and creative industries. It reflects the understanding and thinking of a group of young scholars on the development of western art since the 20th century. It also reflects that in the current high-speed information age, we are faced with the difficult choices of tradition and modernity, inheritance and innovation, as well as the attachment and reluctance to give up on traditional crafts.
