It's not a bad ending, but it really lacks a bit of "later"
I just finished watching "Conan: The Abnormal Pet Raider" on Qidian. I actually like it overall. The setting is interesting, the protagonist's perspective is fresh, and the interaction with the original characters is also well written. But after watching the ending, you will feel a subtle sense of emptiness. The story stops at the point of "The End of Lang Mu". The main events have indeed come to an end, but the character's life has not really begun yet. This ending is more like the end of the second act than the final act. The readers accompanied the characters through so many things, but in the end they did not see how they lived afterwards, how the world changed, or what the relationship between the protagonist and the world was like in the end. Therefore, it is not unfinished, but stops at the "end of the event" but does not reach the "end of the story." If you can add a little bit of future talk, even just a few character fragments and a few descriptions of the future, the overall completion level will be much higher. The current ending is logically established, but it has not yet fully settled emotionally. This is probably why I find it "weird". 🙄
