This book is a collection of essays from the "Chang'an Forum on Chinese Literature and Art". This forum is sponsored by the Chinese Literary Critics Association, the Propaganda Department of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Northwest University, and is hosted by the Chinese Literary Criticism Base of Northwest University. The book manuscript is composed of speeches and commissioned manuscripts from leaders and experts who participated in the conference, and is organized around four aspects: cultural confidence and world perspective, realism and Chinese tradition, Chinese aesthetics and contemporary presentation, and online literature and art and the aesthetics of the times. The speakers are all leaders of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and well-known professors and scholars in literary criticism.
