About This Novel
During the Spanish Civil War, Robert Jordan, a young American who was a university lecturer, volunteered to join the Spanish government army. As a Demoman. Jordan was sent to the rear to contact the guerrillas to complete the combat mission of blowing up a bridge. In three days, Qiao Dun gained true love, witnessed the conflicts within the team, and experienced the double test of cruel war and complex human nature. With the assistance of the guerrillas, Qiao Dun successfully completed the task of blowing up the bridge, but unfortunately was seriously injured during the retreat. At the critical moment of life and death, in order to protect everyone, Qiao Dun resolutely stayed and died heroically.
