About This Novel

The work describes an animal world. Through the personification of animals, it symbolizes characters from all classes in medieval society. The supreme ruler is the lion Noble, who is stupid and willful and is a symbol of the king in reality. The Ethan Glen Wolf and Brown Bear are proud and domineering, embodying the status of noble courtiers in reality. Bishop Bell is a jackass. Mussard, the papal representative, was a camel, and these images constituted the upper class of feudal society. Those weak animals such as chickens and rabbits are representatives of the lower class people. The clever Lena Fox is a typical example of the bourgeoisie. The story unfolds in the overt and covert struggle between Lena Fox and Ethan Gran Wolf. Lena fooled all animals including the Lion King with his cunning, causing them strong dissatisfaction and resentment. The Lion King successively sent Brown Bear, Tippe Cat and Grand Bard Cat to capture him. But Lena used their respective weaknesses to devise traps and played hard tricks on them.
