The second part of the "Border Trilogy". The story of "Time Travel" takes place before "Horse", in the New Mexico border area in the 1930s, where 16-year-old Billy Parham and his younger brother Boyd ran a ranch with their parents. The trap set by him and his father captured a female wolf. Billy discovered her trap while riding on patrol and decided to send her back to the mountains of Mexico. Hence this journey across the border. Billy brought the female wolf to Mexico, but was forcibly detained by local forces in a border town. He shot the female wolf with his own hands and wandered aimlessly in the mountains. When he returned home, he found that everything had been turned upside down... He and his brother were determined to retrieve everything that belonged to them. However, as the book says, the consequences of an action are often inconsistent with a person's wishes.
