About This Novel

During the Han Dynasty, Liu Xiang compiled Qu Yuan's works and the works of Song Yu and others who "inherited Qu Fu" into a collection called "Chu Ci". It is China's first collection of romantic poetry and erotic articles. The most popular version of "Chu Ci" has 17 volumes and 17 chapters. The textual structure of the current version is basically based on the "Supplementary Notes to the Songs of Chu", which is based on the "Zhangju" of the Songs of Chu.
