About This Novel

"Robinson Crusoe" tells the story of Robinson Crusoe, a young British sailing enthusiast who was swept to a desert island by wind and waves in a shipwreck. Although he was out of danger, he was alone and helpless. In order to survive, he used his intelligence and strong will to overcome various hardships and built fortresses, "villas" and ships. He also rescued captives from the hands of the natives and assisted the British shipowners in recovering the ship that had been occupied by pirates. Finally, he bid farewell to the desert island where he had lived for 28 years, and returned to the UK with the ship.
