About This Novel
Mrs. Fang (my grandma), a well-educated and courteous young lady from a wealthy family in the old days, has gone through years of ups and downs and turned into a sloppy and dirty old lady with a sharp mouth and a tofu heart. Although her family was in decline, she still did not forget the family motto of "be kind and charitable". Under the dilapidated roof of her home, she took in a group of people who had nowhere to go.
