About This Novel

Each of the four brothers and sisters of the Plum family finally became useless middle-aged people. The eldest brother Leo's marriage is only a shell; the second sister Beatrice is still immersed in the glory achieved ten years ago; the third brother Jack's life weaved with lies is about to collapse; the younger sister Melody is a complete slave to the identity of a "good mother"... The only thing that can save this family's desperate life is a large trust fund left by their father. However, the will stipulates that everyone must wait until Melody's 40th birthday before everyone can get the money. Seeing that his birthday was approaching, Leo lost almost all of his father's inheritance because of a ridiculous accident. The brothers and sisters, who had been looking forward to a happy second half of their lives, were suddenly forced to face the question that everyone feared: How should we survive after losing all hope?
