About This Novel
A group of intellectuals and urban youths with different personalities gathered around Yuting, the editor-in-chief of Beijing Tiandi Publishing House, including freelance writer Lao Qing, poets Feitian, Huang Qiushui, journalists Mu Mu, Suizi, the beautiful little boss Xinzhi, painter Li Huang, beauty pageant champion Chu Yun, movie star Xue'an, etc. They established a cultural salon to discuss culture, explore life, learn from each other's strengths, and develop together. Who do people live for? Is it ideals, money, power, relatives and friends, love, or self? Everyone's life path is different. Yuting presided over the salon and held calligraphy, painting and literature lectures at the Shichahai Houhai Tea House, and many wonderful stories happened; Lao Qing appeared to be romantic on the surface, but in fact he was heroic and courageous.
