The characters in the novel are not cold, boring gods and ghosts, but flesh-and-blood living people full of humanity. Their emotions are no different from ordinary people, but they only cast spells when necessary. The novel inherits the narrative skills of speakers since the Song and Yuan Dynasties. The writing is lively and free, with a strong market atmosphere and is highly expressive. This book is the original version by Luo Guanzhong, with a total of twenty chapters.

Great stick, I like it 😍
The character created by Hu Yong'er is very plump and perfect, with extraordinary talent and kind nature. He was favored by the immortal and taught his spiritual skills. However, his parents were worried about being held accountable by the government and were forced to marry a fool. He escaped from the marriage and ran away from home.
This is a novel in the form of a fairy tale about the suppression of the peasant uprising led by Hu Yong'er and Wang Ze during the reign of Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty. Originally there were twenty chapters in total, including many folk tales and legends in simple language. It is very different from the popular 40-chapter edition added and revised by Feng Menglong, and is the only edition in China.
