About This Novel
The story takes place in the context of the prevalence of onmyoji and the rampage of monsters. There is a mysterious bookstore called Daymeng on the outskirts of Luoyang City. The owner Jibai, together with the puppet master Mu Qing and the swordsmith Sibei, search for the monsters from a foreign land who have traveled to the west. They constantly encounter strange events and see the legendary beasts in the mountains and seas.
