About This Novel
"Mother" - This is an unusual book, both in story and setting. The story takes place in a semi-civilized and semi-superstitious remote mountain village in Sardinia. The main attraction of this book is the psychological research between the two protagonists and the rapid progress of the story (the whole story takes place in two days). In fact, the whole play is mainly based on the interweaving of psychological conflicts, and these conflicts are all forced by the environment. This is almost a simple and inevitable Western-style tragedy.
