About This Novel

During the Great Depression of the United States, in the southern town of Maycomb, six-year-old girl Scout and her ten-year-old brother Jem were enjoying a quiet and leisurely summer time, but inadvertently, they were involved in an unfair case with their lawyer father Atticus. As a result, the complexity and imperfection of the adult world slowly unfolded in front of the two children in advance, and the two pure hearts were shocked one after another... While their father Atticus injected lasting power into them. This power has been with them throughout their lives, allowing them not to be afraid of facing prejudice, injustice, or even malice, but to be able to tenderly and firmly maintain the kindness and justice in their hearts.

To Kill a Mockingbird - The best education is to respect differences

This book tells the story of a black man, Tom, who was falsely accused of raping a white girl. Even though there was no evidence to prove his crime, people still thought he was guilty, just because he was a black man. In people's eyes, black people are dirty and dirty people. Even if they did nothing, there would be crimes inexplicably pinned on their heads. In the original text, Tom was beaten to death because he wanted to escape from prison, which showed the darkness of human nature. In the whole book, only lawyer Atticus Finch defends black Tom, but people insult Atticus as a guy who loves niggas, which reveals the racial discrimination in the United States at that time and people's inherent prejudice against black people.

This book uses the form of comics to tell us a story related to the program, and this story has been recorded since he was 13 years old. It can be seen that although this story is short, it is very penetrating.

And what is the relationship between the robin in this book and the protagonist Jem? Could it be that the reason for his arm injury was somehow related to the robin? Or is there some reason that we simply don't know?

Prejudice can really kill people sometimes! ! !

The discrimination of white people against black people is engraved in their bones. They believe that all black people are not good people. Even if the black people have not done anything, the final trial will still favor the white people. This is unfair. I hope that the world will be free of bias, only focus on things and not people, and respect objective facts. In this way, no good person will be wronged, and no bad person will be spared. There are a few sentences in the book that I thought were pretty good, so I jotted them down, hoping to remind myself of them all the time: -We can't give up on winning just because we have been defeated in the past hundred years. -No one in their right mind will be arrogant -It's not that holding a gun in your hand means being brave, but that you will do it even though you know you will fail. No matter what happens, you will persevere. You rarely win, but you always win. Just insist on doing what you think is right. No matter what others say, please persist and believe in yourself!

There are many "robins" in the world itself

The content satirizes this society. The world is unequal. There are good people and bad people.

It can be seen that arm injuries also have a certain impact on playing rugby, but why didn't my brother's mother give up rugby directly when the arm healed? What is this situation?
