About This Novel

Osborne and Ashid are a pair of young lovers who live in a river valley at both ends of a huge torrent. They are blocked by the torrent and cannot hold hands. When the red-faced people of the Western Valley invaded, Asheed disappeared. The heartbroken Osborne took his magical sword "The Sword of Death" and joined Sir Godric of Changlin's camp. He spent five years participating in the war and became a red-coated warrior with both wisdom and bravery who frightened his enemies. He helped depose the tyrannical king and the alliance of wealthy merchants who ruled the bayou city. After all kinds of hardships, he found Eshid, who had escaped with his adoptive mother. This woman was proficient in witchcraft and took her through mountains and rivers to overcome difficulties. After that, they returned to Osborne's hometown of Wetmore together, and the old woman told the whole story to everyone, and finally had a happy ending.
