About This Novel

This set of books includes seven volumes: "Rise of the White Wolf", "Sword of Destiny", "Blood of Elves", "The Age of Contempt", "Baptism of Fire", "Tower of Swifts" and "Lady in the Lake". Geralt is a demon hunter who wears the white wolf badge and wanders around the world. He has received rigorous training since he was a child, traveling around the world to hunt and destroy monsters. He lives in a world with ambiguous morals, but insists on his consistent personal style of doing things. Because of his cynicism, integrity and arrogance, Geralt has been compared to the famous detective Philip Marlowe written by writer Raymond Chandler. The "The Witcher Series" can be regarded as an Eastern European martial arts story, and the author Andrzej Sapkovsky is also known as the "Eastern European Jin Yong" in the Chinese fantasy literature circle. The formation of the world of the Witcher draws heavily on Eastern European history and Slavic mythology, recreating ancient legends with a mysterious oriental flavor.
