About This Novel
Since January 2003, ten handmade "diaries" have been mailed back and forth between China and Sweden. These books were jointly produced by five Chinese and five Swedish female artists. Each time the "diaries" arrived, the artists were free to choose the ones they liked, add sketches, photos or text to them, and then send them back, which lasted throughout 2003. "Diaries" have different shapes and contents depending on which artist is working on them.
