Li Zhibang was born in Tianjin in May 1953 and is a native of Anping County, Hebei Province. He joined the army in 1970 and transferred to work in Tianjin Mass Art Museum in 1978. Research librarian, member of the Chinese Writers Association, contracted writer of the Tianjin Writers Association School of Literature, and outstanding expert of the Ministry of Culture. There are more than 100 novellas and more than 100 short stories. In 2002, he was nominated for the Tianjin Young Writers Award. The TV series "Boundless" he co-produced won the "Five One Project Award" of the Central Propaganda Department. The non-scene drama "Song of Hope" won the silver medal of the "Star Award" of the Ministry of Culture; the four-act drama "Next Stop Happiness"; the three-episode radio drama "We Workers" won the silver medal of the National Radio Drama "Government Award".
