The novel about gods and demons in the Ming Dynasty tells the story of Monk Tang, who traveled westward for the second time in the Tang Dynasty to seek the true interpretation of Buddhist scriptures because the scriptures he read were obscure. Tang Banjie successively conquered the second-generation stone monkey Sun Xiaosheng who was conceived in the Huaguo Mountain spiritual stone. With the help of Xiaosheng, he conquered the ancient dragon horse that carried the water out of the river, Zhu Yijie, and the Shahe Ninja Turtle Shami. Then, the four masters and disciples traveled westward, first defeating General Heng Ha and then fighting Monk Mei Yin. After that, they dug through the two qi of Yin and Yang, fought against the King of Civilization, and regained the "Spring and Autumn Pen"... The road to learn the scriptures is full of difficulties and dangers. One of the three major sequels to "Journey to the West", the book has a total of forty chapters. Although its influence is not as good as "Journey to the West", it is quite comparable to "Journey to the West" in terms of criticizing current ills and laughing and scolding literary talent.
