Thomas Wolfe Series (set of 5 Volumes in Total) (angel Looks Homeward + God's Lonely + Web and Stone + Time and River + Nowhere to Return Home)
About This Novel
This set includes: "Angel Looking Homeward", "God's Lonely", "Net and Stone", "Time and River", and "Nowhere to Return Home", a total of 5 books. American Vanity Fair during the Great Depression, a dazzling reflection after the fall of a genius; looking for the road to redemption in the swamp of human nature, a long posthumous work that blends sorrow and joy! Thomas Wolfe's novels are full of energy and can unashamedly rival our best works. Wolfe not only paid great attention to the natural world, but also often placed characters in nature, exaggerating the relationship between man and nature. Wolff is by no means indifferent to the perfect art form of fiction, but he firmly believes that strong emotions will generate an art form that matches it. This completely self-expression will eventually naturally become a complete and sufficient means of artistic expression.

To some extent, Eugene was a dreamer. He grew up in his own original inner world and entertained himself. He fled and fell in love with this chaotic, noisy, violent, manic and neurotic family. He was extremely uneasy. After each description of frustration, the author would write a long paragraph of lyricism, about the top of the mountain, the bright moon, the breeze... The changes in people's psychological state will vary depending on the angle from which they look at everything. I like the description of Eugene after drunkenness and Eugene after lovelorn, so passionate! The descriptions of many delicious foods in the book are really a huge torment for a person who is losing weight. I strongly recommend reading this book after eating and drinking.
